iPhone 3GS gets good response for Vodafone in UK

After Orange and Tesco Mobile cracked the iPhone in UK, Vodafone has gone on sale with the Jesus phone aswell. In what is believed to be a hint that Apple is all set to go ahead and sell the iPhone via multiple carriers in its dominant US market. There is a lot of hype and buzz value of how much a smartphone sells in the first week of launch, and it seems Vodafone has managed to do better than what Nexus one has done in US.

According to leaked figures the Nexus One sold just 20000 pieces globally (1st week sales) while Vodafone is expecting to ship 50000 units on launch day in UK. Now that’s the iPhone charm! Vodafone is also bundling a free sat nav app that would cost £3/month from April.

The iPhone 3GS stock shortage seems to be over now, so Dear Apple, Can we have the 3GS in India please?
